Summer Vacation Notice
In accordance with the directions issued by the competent authorities, Hamid Chara Army Goodwill School, Chandigam shall observe Summer Vacation from 06 July 2026 to 19 July 2026.
Regular academic activities will remain suspended during this period. Students are advised to utilize the vacation productively by revising their syllabus, completing assigned holiday homework, and maintaining a regular study routine.
The school will reopen on Monday, 20 July 2026, and all students are expected to attend classes in proper school uniform and with their completed holiday assignments.
We wish all our students a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer vacation.

Tribute to Shaurya Chakra Awardee Rifleman Abdul Hamid Chara
Hamid Chara Army Goodwill School Chandigam pays heartfelt tribute to Rifleman Abdul Hamid Chara, a brave son of Kupwara and a proud soldier of 162 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), attached to 18 Rashtriya Rifles, who made the supreme sacrifice on 12 June 2007 in the service of the nation.
For his exceptional courage, devotion to duty, and gallantry, he was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra. His valor and patriotism continue to inspire generations of students and citizens alike.
On this day, we remember his sacrifice with deep respect and gratitude.
