Admission Rules

Welcome to Hamid Chara Army Goodwill School, Chandigam. We are committed to providing quality education in a safe, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment. Parents and students are requested to read the following admission rules carefully before applying.

General Guidelines

• Admissions are open from Nursery to Class XII, subject to the availability of seats.
• Admission is granted purely on merit, eligibility, and seat availability.
• Submission of the application form does not guarantee admission.
• The decision of the Principal and the Admission Committee regarding admissions shall be final.

Eligibility

• The applicant must fulfill the age criteria prescribed by the school and the competent education authorities.
• Students seeking admission to Classes I–XII must have successfully passed the previous class from a recognized school.
• Admission to higher classes may be subject to an entrance assessment or interview.

Admission Process

1. Complete the online/offline admission application form.
2. Submit all required documents.
3. Attend the entrance test or interaction (where applicable).
4. Receive admission confirmation from the school.
5. Pay the prescribed admission and tuition fees within the stipulated time.

Documents Required

The following documents must be submitted at the time of admission:

• Birth Certificate
• Student's Aadhaar Card
• Recent passport-size photographs of the student
• Transfer Certificate (TC), where applicable
• Previous academic report card/marks sheet
• Character Certificate (for applicable classes)
• Migration Certificate (if required)
• Parent/Guardian ID proof
• Any other documents requested by the school

Fee Policy

• Admission is confirmed only after payment of the prescribed fees.
• School fees must be paid on or before the due date.
• Fees once paid are generally non-refundable, except where permitted under school policy.
• Students with outstanding dues may not be allowed to attend classes, appear in examinations, or receive academic records until all dues are cleared.

Attendance & Discipline

• Students are expected to maintain regular attendance and a high standard of discipline.
• A minimum attendance as prescribed by the school and JKBOSE is required to appear in examinations.
• Students and parents are expected to follow all school rules and maintain respectful behaviour within the school community.

Cancellation of Admission

The school reserves the right to cancel admission if:

• False or incorrect information is provided.
• Required documents are not submitted within the prescribed time.
• School rules are repeatedly violated.
• School fees remain unpaid despite repeated reminders.

School's Right

Hamid Chara Army Goodwill School, Chandigam reserves the right to modify or amend these admission rules whenever necessary. The decision of the Principal regarding admissions and related matters shall be final and binding.
